As a therapist, I can help you build the resiliency and skills needed to start healing your trauma and reclaim your life. I approach each session from a non-judgmental place and help you build a strong foundation of safety before exploring your trauma history.
Why "Just Talking" Isn't Always Enough
Traditional talk therapy is excellent for reframing beliefs, but you cannot talk your way out of physiological trauma symptoms. Trauma lives in the body and the nervous system. This is why many people feel "stuck" for years despite being able to articulate their problems. To reach the root, we have to go deeper than words.

My approach goes beyond symptom management. We work directly with your nervous system using evidence-based techniques:
Somatic Exposure Therapy: We gently track physical sensations in the body to release stored tension and "unstick" the survival energy trapped in your system.
Mindfulness Skills: You will learn to observe your triggers in real-time without becoming overwhelmed by them.
Nervous System Regulation: We move at your pace to expand your "window of tolerance," making daily stressors feel manageable again.
Trauma processing can be scary and unsettling. For this reason it is essential for you to be in the drivers seat when it comes to your trauma healing journey.

How We Work Together
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. Here is the step-by-step process of what you can expect when we work together:
Free 15-Minute Consultation: A low-pressure call to see if we are a good fit and answer any questions you have.
The Intake Session: We’ll discuss your history and, more importantly, what you want your future to look like.
Building the Foundation: Before processing trauma, we spend time building your "toolkit" of safety and stabilization skills.
Targeted Treatment: We use somatic and mindfulness techniques to process the root of your distress.
Ongoing Growth: Through weekly or bi-weekly sessions, we integrate these shifts into your daily life until you feel empowered to move forward on your own.
